Fiber Therapy at Fort Worth's Spring Fling Arts Festival this Saturday!

Don't forget that this Saturday from 10am-6pm is the Funky Finds Spring Fling!http://funkyfinds.us/springfling The indoor event will showcase the work of over 130 talented artisans providing consumers the opportunity to find hand-crafted one-of-a-kind gifts, unique accessories, fashionable attire, home dècor and more.

Our local www.fibertherapy.org group will be there giving out FREE knitting and crochet kits and training to the first 50 students who sign up, as well as weaving, spinning (yarn making) and fiber preparation demonstrations.

ABOUT THE EVENT:

The family and pet-friendly event will feature a raffle benefiting Humane Society of North Texas, Tarrant Area Food Bank, and Aflac Cancer Center. The first 50 people to purchase a $1 raffle ticket will receive "go green" swag bags hand-crafted by the Dallas Craft Mafia full of funky goods. The Humane Society will also be on-hand facilitating pet adoptions.

The Spring Fling is a terrific way to celebrate Earth Day as many vendors create recycled and upcycled goods. Eco-conscious shoppers will appreciate having over 100 shops in one location eliminating the waste of time and gasoline driving around town.
